Québécoise painter-collagist, Adèle Blais has been developing a unique artistic technique and a singular aesthetic universe since 2006. Also a speaker and trainer, she is invested in researching and transmitting the forgotten stories of the feminine.

Drawing inspiration from the life stories of unique, admirable, and often unknown personalities, she seeks to restore their rightful place in history. For her, rebalancing the place of women in our collective memory is not about opposing genders, but rather about restoring a common history founded on interdependence, mutual recognition, and collectivity.

Her work has been the subject of numerous projects and publications, and the majority of her works are now part of private collections. Her creations have been exhibited in Hong Kong, London, Stockholm, New York, San Francisco, Miami, New Orleans, Houston, Toronto, Montreal, and Sherbrooke.

Today, I have the immense pleasure of recreating some of her works in a new form: diamond painting. The creations resulting from this collaboration are available for sale on Adèle Blais' official website.

This collaboration was born from a meeting as unexpected as it was symbolic.

One day, Adèle walked through the door of my shop accompanied by her daughter. She wanted to show her this small space that she herself had occupied some twenty years before and where the artist she is today had begun to come to life.

Twenty years later, the paths of two tenants of 1723, Letourneux Avenue in Montreal thus crossed. From this encounter was born a beautiful collaboration allowing Adèle's works to be discovered in a different way, with diamond painting.
